In the year 2231, an alien world has been found to
replenish Earth’s dwindling supply of resources.
The only problem is that that planet is also teeming
with alien life, ready to savagely attack any outsid-
ers. While the EEPO prepare to take what they
need despite the cost of alien life,
a group of resistance from within takes hold,
appalled that this primitive world won’t have a
change to evolve into an advanced civilization,
and fight to sabotage their mission.
As the fate of an overpopulated Earth looms
in the balance, every capable fighter must
choose their side.
History of Genesis AD
The Rise of the EEPO
As Earth’s population begins to spiral out of
control, resources like fossil fuels, clean water,
and forest land become increasingly sparse.
The different governments of the world fight
fiercely for whatever they can acquire. In 2103
though, a meeting of most heads of state con-
venes to address the situation – if we keep
fighting over the last remaining resources, in a
few generations there will be nothing left.
To combat the rising violence and diminishing resources, the governments of the world decide that they will turn over their military governing power to the EEPO, a corporation showing promising advances in a new kind of technology. They promise that when this new technology is completed, it will bring an end to the age of overpopulated cities and scarce resources. They promise it will be a new dawn for humanity. 2105: With control of all the world’s militaries, the EEPO quickly puts an end to what they call “terrorist uprisings”, any unauthorized violence or theft, even by starving people to steal to survive. Soldiers wearing technologically advanced powered combat suits patrol all major cities.
Resistance begins to grow
At first, only a few political activists criticize the overbearing actions of the EEPO military against unarmed peas-
ants, just trying to steal to survive. As time goes on though, more egregious actions are ordered by military ove-
rseers against the starving masses. Political speech is silenced by raiding the homes of young writers, sending
them to jail without any charges. Reports of torture being used to extract admissions from political dissidents
surface. The underground resistance grows, including soldiers who appear to follow orders during the day, but
meet in secret to plan at night. Eventually, the movement is large enough, prepared enough, and supplied
enough to make a serious attempt at the leadership of the EEPO.
Before they have a chance though, the EEPO releases some big news.
A new technology
2112: With the large inflow of money that the EEPO is able to bring in from its’ military operations, they have
completed the project that they had promised would bring an end to the starvation, lack of clean water, fuel, and
living space. They announce that they have not only completed a kind of warp-gate technology, but they have
used it to covertly investigate the worlds in other solar systems with the highest chances of harboring water –
and life. This technology, they explain, hinged on the discovery of the properties of the graviton particle, the
particle which mediates gravity. In their own particle accelerator, they were able to study, and then mimic the
effects of gravity particles in a way that they could control. By focusing a graviton beam on a distant location in
space, the fabric of that distant space-time could be bent toward us and intersect our own, allowing travelers to
cross into that distant space in a matter of seconds. When the graviton beam is turned off and space-time
returns to relative flatness, those travelers will find themselves light-years away.
Preparations for war
To fulfill their promise to mankind, and ensure our survival after most of Earth’s resources have run dry, the EEPO
prepares to invade a life-supporting planet they have found in a distant solar system. For hundreds of years,
scientists have tracked possible life-supporting planets, attempting to send signals in vain. By going through the
list of the best candidates, the EEPO was able to just point their graviton beams at the right coordinates in
space, and check them for themselves. After many barren, gas-covered planets are found to be unable to sup-
port life, one of the life-supporting guesses was found to actually be right. EEPO astronauts in orbit saw vegeta-
tion, oxygen, and large primal life-forms. This means clean water, probably oil in the ground from pre-historic
animals, and plenty of room for expansion – protected only by primal creatures.
What they don’t see on their orbital scans though are the existing stone ruins, large bipedal creatures, and tech-
nology waiting for them below.
Unexpected nemesis
Before the EEPO is ready to invade the alien planet and loot it of resources, the resistance strikes. Having
learned of their plan to invade a seemingly defenseless world before it has a chance to evolve into advanced life
like we did in Earth, the resistance sees a continuation of their abuses against the starving less fortunate.
Resistance forces hidden within the EEPO ranks along with outsiders advance their plan to action. They storm
the headquarters of EEPO in a facility known as Sterile Six where the warp gate technology had been developed.
The most advanced armored soldiers in history face off for the first time against an equal foe. The surprise attack
is executed perfectly, and the facility is locked down against reinforcements with its’ own electronic defenses.
There they find more than they had bargained for.
The EEPO scientists were investigating more than just warp gate technology, but time travel. Since the 20th
century, the principals of General Relativity have told us that nothing can go faster than the speed of light, be-
cause as an object approached the speed of light, its’ mass increases, requiring more energy to accelerate any
more. As the object’s speed approaches the speed of light, the energy required to accelerate it any more ap-
proached infinity – and it also moves slower through time. By bending space with a graviton beam though, and
going through the warp gate, the rules of General Relativity can be broken. EEPO scientists found that if a trav-
eler goes through a warp gate to the distance reaches of space and back through another warp gate generated
by Earth, time passes normally; but if instead, they generate another graviton beam from the distant space
toward Earth, the Earth they come back to is the distant past.
With the EEPO controlling the world’s military, and travel through both time and space, the resistance learned
that their situation was more dire than they had expected…
